When not designing, I enjoy spending time in nature, and exploring new ideas 💡 in tech, philosophy, and psychology.
Feni is a health center located in London, specializing in innovative light therapies that treat various conditions related to skin, bones, muscles, and mental health. The center offers a range of light therapies, including red, blue, and violet (UV).
To successfully enter a very competitive market, Feni needed a strong visual identity and brand architecture that reflected its focus on light therapy. To achieve this, we blended the ancient therapeutic significance of sunlight with modern light therapy science.
We developed an idenitity where light appears as a source of healing. The logotype is formed under a spectrum of light exposure, from the appearance of light to its maximum capacity. A system of identifiers mimicking focal points of light was built, to provide flexibility throughout the visual language.
Typography plays a crucial role within the system. Developed by Federico Parra Barrios’s the variable typeface draws inspiration from photographic exposure, exploring the extreme boundaries of letterforms.
The aim was to create a visual language that conveys a sense of restoration.
Here at Outernet, a new venue space in central London, approached me for an intervention in their AW23 season program. They needed to communicate both live performances and club events with distinct approaches that still aligned with the venue’s overall brand identity.
A set of posters and social media assets for instagram was designed, creating two unique environments that integrate with Here at Outernet established brand assets, including the color green and their typography.
Visual identity and website design for the 2023 edition of MAKR, an international festival celebrating DIY culture and technology.
The maker culture is a movement dedicated to building, hacking, and experimenting with various tools. It includes activities such as electronics, carpentry, programming, and 3D printing.
The festival is an event for creators to showcase their projects and technological innovations. The festival includes talks and workshops, offering a platform for learning and collaboration.
For the 2023 edition, the challenge was to create an identity that captures the essence of this diverse community and the behavior of being a maker, the act of constructing, mixing, and layering.
The visual language is designed to convey the concept of a kit of parts.
An illustration functions as the primary visual interaction that captures the technological environment of the community.
Four typefaces were chosen, each adding diversity through geometric forms, textures, and layers.
Bold and bright colors represent the vibrant community, using vivid hues and contrasts.
